Fig 1— For temperature measurements using RTDs, this linear-bridge configuration (a) uses a single current source to eliminate the difficulty of matching two sources. The circuit overcomes it's dependency on the accuracy of the single source by using the ADC's reference input for compensation. The circuit makes precise resistance measurements using the same techniques.
