| The interface between a photmeter and the parallel-printer port on the PC has a digital multiplexor that selects one to eight time periods. A binary counter divides down to 32.768-kHz crystal oscillator to set the gating periods from 0.125 to 16 sec in steps of 0.125 multiplied by powers of 2. |
