The Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA) has honored Cirrus Logic Inc for its market capitalization, which increased 441% from Dec 29, 1994, through Sept 29, 1995. This growth makes the company the top performer among 28 publicly held fabless companies reviewed by the FSA. The FSA’s goal is to stimulate technology and foundry capacity by communicating the future needs of the fabless semiconductor segment, which comprises IC companies that focus on their design expertise and have subcontractors do the manufacturing.
