| This simplified voltage-control loop (a) shows that when you use local sensing- - that is, you don’t use the +S and -S remote-sense connections- - IANODE can vary to cause a larger voltage drop across R6 than across R3. The control loop in (b) implements automatic local sensing using a differential amplifier to keep the voltage across R3 and R6 equal. |
