Intel Corp will phase out its Multibus and iRMX operating-system lines during 1997 to focus on its PC computing and communications businesses. During the phase-out, the company will honor all warranty and repair support contracts. It is also working to transfer its departing product lines to another manufacturer so that users have a continued source of supply.
