Microware Systems has upgraded its FasTrak cross-development tool to version 2.0, adding support for 68060, PowerPC, and Pentium processors. The company has also released version 2.0 of OS-9 for the PowerPC. The FasTrak cross-development tool integrates compilers, debuggers, and emulators with the OS-9 operating system, allowing designers to work with both user- and system-state (kernel and driver) code. Users can choose C or C++ versions, using Rogue Wave's Ultra C++ compiler. Emulator support includes the Hewlett-Packard line of 68K emulators. The software runs under Windows and on Sun 4, HP 9000, RS600, and Silicon Graphics workstations. Prices for single-seat licenses start at $2850 for the Windows version, and prices for 10-seat licenses start at $14,500 for Unix versions.
