A total of $500,000 is available under Program Opportunity Notice 360-96 with a limit of $250,000 per project. Proposals are due by Sept 20, 1996, and NYSERDA requires cost-sharing for any prospective project.
Proposed control technologies should provide energy-efficiency and environmental benefits, economic-development potential for New York State, and increased productivity in waste reduction in the industrial sector. Technologies include controls for manufacturing monitoring/automation; plant optimization; power conditioning; and such actuator technologies as intelligent valves, variable-speed drives, motor-drive systems, smart sensors, and sensor-integration systems.
