Avant! announces tuition-free university
This fall, Avant! will open a university that will initially offer a tuition-free MSEE program for customers and employees. The university will focus on improving the quality of engineers and linking technical education and the demands of industrial companies. The university's goal is to produce EEs who understand general electronic-IC design and software-automation techniques and how to bring technology products to market.
Avant!'s goal for the university is full academic accreditation. Avant! is the initial sponsor of the university but is seeking additional partners and affiliates. The company will provide facilities, equipment, software, and administrative support. Courses will be available worldwide. You can obtain applications for admission to Avant! University through August 1996. The first semester begins on Sept 30, 1996.
