NiMH battery cell stores 1.0 Ahr.

The EMH-1000, a 1.0-Ahr AA NiMH battery cell, offers consistent power delivery for cellular phones, portable electronics, and PDAs. The EMH-1000 provides negative delta-voltage charge termination and C/10 charging, handling more than 500 charge and discharge cycles. Prices range from $1.37 to $1.88, depending on quantity. Module regulates voltage for Pentium P55C processor.

The MP55C voltage regulator fits into existing socket 7 headers and powers Pentium P55C processors without changes to the board. Because the P55C is the first variant to use split voltage planes—I/O requires 3.3V, and the CPU core requires a lower voltage—it adds another voltage requirement to the motherboard. The MP55C gives you the flexiblity to use either the P54C or P55C on the same motherboard. Charger accommodates wide range of NiCd, NiMH batteries.

Using accurate negative delta-voltage sensing, the HEC66 battery charger for NiCd and NiMH battery packs delivers 1.25A pulsed constant current over a voltage range of 5 to 24V, depending on the model. A refresh mode, which is activated by the push of a button, discharges and monitors the battery pack to a voltage of 0.9 to 1.0V/cell, at which time it switches to a high-charge mode. LED indicators show charger status, including shorted cell, open battery, discharge mode, high charge, trickle charge, and over/undertemperature conditions. 2×3-in. triple-output dc/dc converter.

The NB50TI dc/dc converter contains 50W of power in a 2×3-in. footprint and a 3.8-in. profile. Military versions of the triple-output converter deliver full output power without derating from -55 to +100°C. All versions offer power densities approaching 30W/in.3 and operate at >90% efficiency. Units accept 28V dc input voltage with a range from 14 to 40V dc. Outputs are 5 and ±12V or 5 and ±15V dc. Line and load regulation are 0.1% over the entire range for all outputs. Triple-output supplies cover 30 to 100W.

Open-frame power supplies in a standard 3×5-in. format offer triple outputs with either universal or autoselectable ac input. The SW series comprises 10 fully regulated models in 30, 40, 65, and 100W configurations. All units have OEM-type I/O connectors to simplify wiring and installation. 350W switcher meets high-current requirements.

Joining the Easymod family of modifiable switching power supplies is the AN 350 series, which delivers 350W at 60A peak. The switchers provide one to four outputs with IEC555.2-compliant active power-factor correction in a 9×5×2.5-in. footprint. All outputs are isolated, adjustable, independently regulated, and capable of high peak currents without locking under high-capacitance loads. Easymod options include a cover and fan assembly, 9 to 380V dc inputs, greater than 48V dc output, and output ripple below 20 mV p-p. 30W external switcher accepts 85 to 264V ac.

Housed in a desktop enclosure, the LUP30 series of switching power supplies gives a choice of 10 standard models with single, dual, or triple outputs and an input range from 85 to 264V ac. Supplies deliver up to 30W of continuous output power with an efficiency of 70% typ. The polycarbonate enclosure is 4.33×2.8×1.5-in. and has an IEC320 input connector for worldwide use with any power cord. 100W dc/dc converter generates 5V at 20A.

Contained in a low-profile 0.42×2.4×2.3-in. package, the NanoVerter Model nV48-5 delivers 5V dc at 20A from an input range of 36 to 72V dc. The output of the 100W dc/dc converter is adjustable to within ±10%. The device is floating, so that you can use it for either 5 or -5V applications. Full-rated output is available over a baseplate temperature range of -40 to +1008C. The nV48-5 offers N+1 redundancy with current sharing and permits hot plug-in without master-slave operation. Regulated 5W dc/dc converter has 2:1 input voltage range.

Units in the LW5 series of 5W dc/dc converters operate over an input voltage range of 9 to 18V, 18 to 36V, or 36 to 72V dc. The devices also give you a choice of single and dual outputs of 5, 12, 15, ±12, and ±15V dc. Line and load regulation are both ±1%. Typical efficiency is 84%.
