High-power dc/dc converters offer more than 3×106-hr MTBF

The BXB75 and BXB100 family of dc/dc converters from Computer Products offers 75 and 100W output, respectively, from an industry-standard package measuring 2.40×2.28×0.50 in. Using Bellcore standards, the devices attain more than 3×106-hr MTBF. Additionally, the converters meet UL, CSA, VDE, and EN60950 agency standards.

Accepting input voltages over the range of 36 to 75V, the BXB75 and BXB100 offer output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15V. Conversion efficiency ranges from 82% for a 3.3V device to 89% for a 15V converter. Respective maximum output powers are 50 and 66W for 3.3V-output units; 75 and 100W for all other output voltages. Line and load regulation are 0.01% and 0.05%, respectively. Prices are $103 and $109 (1000), respectively.
