Toshiba’s µCs tap into onboard flash

The TLCS-900 family of 16-bit µCs from Toshiba just became easier to design in. The company’s new TMP93FS80F µC contains 64 kbytes of flash memory, allowing you to perform in-system updates during and after product development. The device, in a 120-pin QFP, also contains 2 kbytes of RAM, three 16-bit timers, an ADC, two serial channels, a four-channel PWM, and a two-channel phase-pulse output. The TMP93FS80F sells for $18.20.—by Markus Levy
