&& PREVIOUS FINALIST | MAIN | NEXT FINALIST >> Category: Power: Special Finalist: DA9052 ultraflexible power-management IC, Dialog Semiconductor ![]() The Dialog Semiconductor DA9052 is a system-level power management IC (PMIC). It enables designers to easily and precisely customize operating modes and power sequencing for virtually any portable device. The DA9052 supports all major families of application processors and has 300 configurable functions. Designers can easily adjust and optimise 14 power supplies and 16 GPIOs as well as several other system functions without use of external controllers or firmware changes. The device is aimed at smartphones, navigation devices, and media players as well as Tier 1 handset manufacturers. It’s part the NEC Electronics EMMA-Mobile1 reference platform. The device also features an advanced programming interface. Power sequencing and multiple sleep modes are modeled and set using a drag-and-drop GUI. You can test and debug settings within a real application and store it on a one-time programmable memory. You can add in new hardware later in the design process and then recalibrate the system power sequencing. |
