&& PREVIOUS FINALIST | MAIN | NEXT FINALIST >> Category: Analog: Converters Finalist: ADS5400 12-bit, 1G-sample/sec ADC, Texas Instruments ![]() The ADS5400 is the first 12-bit, 1-Gsps ADC (analog-to-digital-converter) with a buffered input. The part will find applications in defense by improving radar and SIGINT (signal intelligence) capabilities, and can double the capture bandwidth of signals with 12-bit resolution in test and measurement. It offers an SNR of 59.1 dBFS, SFDR of 75 dBc, and SINAD of 58 dBFS. Its input bandwidth is 200 MHz, while the user-selectable single- or dual-bus DDR LVDS outputs provide designers flexibility to choose between I/O speed and trace count. The device’s adjustable gain, offset, and phase ease your interleaving of two or more ADCs to create a multi-GSPS digitizer, or to balance two ADCs in an I/Q (in-phase and quadrature) receiver. |
