Newark InOne, Analog Devices ink full-line distribution deal

By Colleen Taylor -- EDN, February 6, 2007

Electronic components distributor Newark InOne has inked a deal to become a full-line distributor of semiconductor manufacturer Analog Devices' (ADI) products.

As of the agreement signed in December, Newark InOne said it is also now a participant in the manufacturer's new product introduction program. Financial terms and length of the deal were not disclosed.

"We are delighted that this new partnership offers our customers a superb portfolio plus the latest analog, digital and mixed-signal products," Paul Tallentire, president of Newark InOne, said in a statement.

In further ADI supply chain news, the analog company also recently inked a deal with Avnet Electronics Marketing that saw the release of a development kit the two companies created with Micron Technology Inc.
