Microchip Reaffirms Guidance

Microchip Technology Inc. reaffirmed its guidance for fiscal Q1, saying it expects net sales to grow by 5 percent to 6 percent sequentially.

That’s from record Q4 sales of $247.2 million.

The Chandler-Ariz.-based maker of microcontrollers and analog chips said that net income is expected to be about 35 cents per share. 

The company will announce full results for the quarter ended June 30 on Thursday, July 20.
