Ex-Broadcom CEO Joins Peregrine's Board of Directors

Former Broadcom CEO Alan "Lanny" Ross has taken a seat on Peregrine Semiconductor's board of directors.
Ross, who continues to serve on Broadcom's board, is a 30-year industry veteran who retired his CEO post in December.
Ross also has held positions with Rockwell International, National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor, as well as acting as chairman of the board of the Semiconductor Industry Association in 1994.
"We are extremely pleased to have such a seasoned veteran with a proven track record such as Lanny's join our board," said Jim Cable, president and CEO of the supplier of RF CMOS ICs, in a statement. "As we enter a phase of rapid revenue and shipment growth for the company, Lanny's wealth of industry experience will be invaluable to us."
