Forum completes UNI 1.0 Spec

The OIF (Optical Internetworking Forum) has announced the approval of the UNI (User Network Interface) 1.0 signaling specification, which defines signaling protocols implemented by client and transport network equipment among vendors to invoke services, mechanisms to transport signaling messages, and auto-discovery procedures. The transport network lets you to create and delete connections on demand.
