DSPs further push clock rates

Texas Instruments' TMS320C6414, TMS320C6415, and TMS320C6416 DSPs are pushing supported clock rates for signal processing ever higher with 720-MHz versions. Improvements in Texas Instruments' 130-nm copper-process technology enable the clock-rate increase. Production quantities of all three DSPs are now available for $199 to $277 (10,000).
