Pulse's CX20xxL series provides impedance ratios of 1:1 to 1:8 with low typical insertion loss of less than 0.6 dB (Picture). The surface-mount devices operate from 50 kHz to 1.5 GHz and provide interstage coupling and related functions in set-top boxes, cable modems, and wireless-networking equipment. The devices use the industry standard 0.150×0.150-in. footprint with 0.110-in. height and cost 50 cents (moderate quantities).
