InfiniBand debuts new version

The InfiniBand Trade Association released Version 1.0 of the InfiniBand Architecture Specification during the second Developers Conference in Las Vegas. The InfiniBand switched-fabric-based I/O architecture offers performance of 500 Mbytes to 6 Gbytes/sec. Members have access to a limited number of free specification copies. Nonmembers may download the spec for $19.95 or purchase a CD-ROM ($49.95) or bound copy ($249.95).
