Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology Inc. today announced the official closure of the creation of IM Flash Technologies LLC, the new company formed by Micron and Intel Corp. in November.
The company will manufacture NAND flash memory for use in consumer electronics, removable storage and handheld communications devices.IM Flash will manufacture NAND flash for Micron and Intel exclusively.
