Avnet Time Adds Weidmuller in Europe

Avnet Time has beefed up its board level interconnect offerings through a pan-European distribution agreement with Weidmuller.

The Detmold, Germany, based company is a key player in the PCB connector and PCB terminals sector with double-digit market shares and leading market positions across Europe.

“We are very excited to have Weidmuller on board. Now we will be able to support our customers with an extended state of the art product portfolio for many board level requirements,” said Klaus Emme, president of Avnet Time.

Avnet Time’s focus on new and specific technologies to help customers differentiate their products against competition means 70 percent of the products it sells are design-in intensive, non-commodity products.
