Arrow Electronics Inc has announced that it will distribute Alpha and Omega Semiconductors Inc's (AOS)  power devices to the distributor’s customer base, along with support for customer projects from design to production, under a worldwide agreement between the two companies.

"AOS has a wide portfolio of proprietary technology and advanced power management solutions that have gained significant market share in computing, consumer and industrial applications where we have focused our sales efforts. With Arrow's global sales network and logistics infrastructure, we believe we have a winning combination that will provide significant business opportunities for both companies," said Jonus Chen, VP of worldwide sales for AOS, in a statement.

AOS is a fabless semiconductor company that develops analog power management solutions, including power MOSFET, power IC, and transient voltage suppressor products.

Separately, Arrow’s North American components business this week announced that it is expanding its agreement with Amphenol Corp, a player in the military RF microwave industry.

The agreement includes products from Amphenol's SV Microwave division, which designs and manufactures coaxial connectors, cable assemblies, and attenuators.
