OUTLOOK: Giant distributor Arrow Electronics isn't taking the small or medium-sized accounts lightly. On the eve of closing two major acquisitions, the Electronic Distribution Group of Bell Industries and Richey Electronics, Arrow's chairman and chief executive officer, Stephen P. Kaufman, stressed plans to continue to support the small and medium-sized distributor as well as the larger accounts. He had this to say to Electronic News:

"We are very excited by the prospect of both Bell's EDG and Richey joining the Arrow family of companies. Bell's strong position with small and medium-sized customers, deep understanding of the unique requirements of those customers and well-established skills in meeting those requirements, are of strategic importance to Arrow.
