Available in a Micro Foot chip-scale package, the 20V P-channel Si8445DB TrenchFET power MOSFET reduces the need for level-shift circuitry with a 1.2Ω on-resistance rating. The MOSFET has an on-resistance range from 0.495Ω at 1.2V to 0.084Ω at 4.5V gate-to-source voltage. The device suits low-threshold load-switching, charger-switching, and battery-management applications for cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players, and smartphones. Available in a 1.2×1×0.59-mm footprint, the Si8445DB TrenchFET costs 15 cents (100,000).
