Semtech Corp RClamp2504N: Silicon device protects against lightning and ESD

Targeting telecom and network interfaces, the four-line RClamp2504N 2.5V silicon device provides lightning-surge and ESD protection on Ethernet and high-speed digital interfaces. The device meets IEC 61000-4-x protection standards for EFTs (electrical fast transients). The product has a 2-pF typical line-to-line capacitance, allowing 2-GHz operation. The RClamp2504N costs 49 cents (1000).
