Measuring 0.8×0.78 in., the XE0402LCC telephone-interface module is half the size of the previous-generation device. Features include a solid-state hook-switch, caller-ID passthrough, and a ring detector. The module also provides a 3000V-ac isolation barrier. The device supports a dial-backup feature for VOIP systems, audio and data transfer for security applications, and an audio bridge for radio systems. The XE0402LCC costs $6.30 (5000).
