Features include a high-speed serial interface, an integrated Web server, hardware-based SSL (secure-sockets-layer)-standard encryption, and firewall functions. The devices also provide remote configuration, management and firmware upgrades. A suite of Internet protocols and applications includes TCP/UDP (transmission-control protocol/user-data protocol), SMTP/POP3 (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol/Post Office Protocol Version 3), MIME (multipurpose Internet-mail extension), HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol), WAP (wireless-application protocol), FTP (file-transfer protocol), and Telnet. The Secure iLAN and Secure iWiFi cost $75 and $85, respectively.
