This blog post references my feature article 'Connecting Systems To Displays: What We Got Here Is A Failure To Communicate' in EDN's January 4, 2007 edition.
This is a placeholder post; as news related to the topic of display interfaces is released prior to and at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, I'll alert you to the announcements here. Thanks to under-embargo pre-briefings, I already know about some really interesting upcoming product and technology news, so make sure you bookmark this post for regular perusal beginning mid-next week!
January 3: After repeatedly announcing the exact same DisplayPort transmitter....twice within 10 months' time (maybe they thought my memory was bad?)....Analogix has just unveiled its first DisplayPort receiver.
January 9: Intel made official what my cover story, written several months ago and published five days ago, predicted: the company dropped support for UDI and embraced DisplayPort.
