Zero mentions in Paul Otellini's keynote. One momentarily-mentioned on-stage 'Montvale'-based hardware example, along with three other brief allusions in Pat Gelsinger's keynote...ironically in all cases in the context of a broadening of industry support beyond Itanium to Xeon.

Intel PR will probably put on a brave face in their response to this post, claiming "all's well with Itanium" and "there's only a limited amount of per-speech time; you can't expect an executive to cover everything." But c'mon...nothing more than three slight asides, even within Gelsinger's enterprise pitch?

I smell death. Or, if you prefer, I see dead processors. ;-)
