Strategy Session

Welcome to the new Strategy Session blog! My goal is to make this a community for electronics industry managers and executives to share their ideas with each other and for the community to comment on them as well. Maybe you want to share a general strategy that’s worked for your team, or perhaps there is a specific industry issue that’s had an impact (good or bad) on your business and you are making some changes as a result. This is your forum to sound off, so please weigh in with your thoughts and opinions.

And while we’re on the topic of new features for readers, you probably noticed that our web site has undergone a new look and reorganization. Our new mega site for the electronics industry is organized into three distinct areas: Business Centers, Technology Centers and News Centers. You are currently in the Business Strategy section of the Business Centers. I encourage you to peruse the other two Business Centers: Semiconductor Manufacturing and Electronics Supply Chain. And if you are interested in the technology of our industry, then you will find our Design Centers filled with the in-depth and useful information that you have always found on EDN. Other new and updated site features are Expert Advice, Guides (where you will find valuable links on one specific topic of interest) and more.
