Tesla motors hires US Mazda stylist

August 6, 2008

Out with the BMW/Aston-Martin guy and in with the Mazda guy. Tesla makes quite a coup in the hire and keeps silicon tongues wagging. Still no scuttlebutt on if they will change to ferric anode cells or stick with the laptop ones. I say use the laptops, I hear that ferric anodes are 30 to 50% less energy density and heck, Tesla does not have deep enough pockets to make the inevitable lawsuits worthwhile.
