Sony's PS3: How To Kill Your Brand

February 28, 2007

After sharing my generally positive impressions of the PS3 as a Cell-on-Linux development platform with y'all yesterday, it's now time to turn to my hands-on observations of the PS3 as a consumer entertainment platform; gaming, Blu-ray and DVD movie playback, web browser, streaming multimedia destination, etc. I'll try to get my own words down on cyber-paper soon, but until then I'll tease you by passing along another's (generally compatible-with-mine) thoughts:

Sony you went wrong with your PS3
I'll just keep playing my 360
Hope this song has helped you understand
Now you know how you killed your brand

Ouch. That's gotta hurt
