Virtual PC: The Upgrade's Also Free
Following up on my early-January O/S virtualization writeup (part 3 of a four-course discourse), along with an earlier heads-up announcing the release of Virtual PC 2007's beta version, Virtual PC 2007 has just gone gold. It runs on Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows XP Professional, and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition host operating systems (note both 32- and 64-bit), and it enables virtualization of many x86-compiled operating systems (including Vista); the product page provides additional details. And here's some early feedback from Hackszine regarding getting wireless networking to work in a guest (virtualized) O/S.
