Jim Allchin: Comin' Atcha Live

For those of you who don't get the obscure reference to a Tesla song, I apologize; I'm from the band's hometown, Sacramento, after all. In the interest of exposing you to diverse opinions, and considering I wasn't particularly kind to Longhorn in my WinHEC trip report earlier this week, I wanted to give a heads-up that Robert Scoble's Channel 9 has an interview up with Microsoft's Group Vice President for Platforms, Jim Allchin. It's a 500 kbps Windows Media Video stream and it's a shade over 47 minutes long; if neither of these factoids turn you off, here's the link. It's actually fairly interesting, and (reinforcing my opinion from past experience listening to him) Jim doesn't spin the facts near as bad as most folks in the industry at his management level do.
