No-Cost Tools: Teach Your GPU New Tricks

February 25, 2007

Nvidia may be having trouble cranking out stable Windows Vista drivers, but the company has released a beta of its CUDA development tool suite (here's more from Jon Stokes). CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture), which I first told you about at the beginning of the year, enables you to develop applications that harness the GeForce 8800 graphics processor for broader GPGPU functions. Head over to Nvidia's developer website for the download, and to the company's developer forum for CUDA discussion.
