Forecasting the video food chain

Greetings, and Happy New Year! By the time you read this, I'll be in Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks for a few days of hiking and snowshoeing—the latest iteration of my yearly connecting-with-nature respite in preparation for the consequent craziness of the Consumer Electronics Show. Speaking of CES, I have some high-level predictions to share with you concerning the technologies and trends I suspect I'll find waiting for me when I return to Las Vegas on the 4th, and they all have video at their core.
