Hands-on Review: Quickfilter Development Kit passes the test

February 21, 2008

Jon Titus reviews the Quickfilter QF1D512 Development kit and finds it easy to use.  The tool allows rapid bring-up and plenty of information to be displayed.

This kit provides a 512-tap filter in a chip.  A good Startup Guide with plenty of screen shots and clear easy-to-follow instructions permit you to install the software without issues.  On-line documentation is available under Help and is viewable from inside the tool.  A graphics interface allows the developer to graphically represent the desired response ofthe filter and the tool translates that to the filter coefficients.
