Adding 11 BJTs (bipolar-junction transistors) to the vendor’s component line, these devices offer an 8-kV ESD (electrostatic-discharge) tolerance and are self-protecting against surges and damage. The devices have a 45-mV saturation voltage at 1A. The series is available in WDFN6, WDFN3, SOT-23, SOT-563,TSOP-6, SC-88, SC-74, and ChipFET packages, and prices range from 18 to 40 cents (10,000).
