Murata Power Solutions 1200RS and 1200LRS: Inductors shield EMI-susceptible applications

July 6, 2009

Using an integral ferrite shield, the 1200RS and the 1200LRS inductor series targets power-line filtering in low- to medium-current applications, such as switching power-supply circuits, that are susceptible to EMI. The 1200LRS series features 6.8-µH to 22-mH inductances and 4.7A-dc-current rating; the 1200RS series provides a 10-µH to 1-mH inductances and 4.6A-dc maximum current rating. The inductor series have a 10.5-mm diameter38.5- mm through-hole, radial-leaded package. The devices operate over a –40 to +85°C temperature range, and prices range from 41 to 50 cents (high volumes).
