Intense Ltd HPD Series 2400: Eye-safe diode lasers come as single diodes and vertical stacks

The high-peak-power HPD Series 2400 eye-safe laser diodes feature 1550-nm pulsed lasers, targeting distance-measurement applications requiring eye-safe laser sources. Operating at 200-nm pulse widths and a 0.1% duty cycle, the lasers come in 150- to 380-micron source sizes. Available in single diodes and stacked arrays, the family comprises the HPD2410 at 5W and the HPD2424 at 12W diodes; and the HPD2410-2S at 10W, HPD2424-2S at 24W, and HPD2424-4S at 48W vertical stacks. The four-chip vertical array provides 48W output power. Available in 5.6-mm, 9-mm, TO18 coaxial, and TO5-twin-lead packages, the HPD Series 2400 laser diodes costs $255.
