September 7, 2006

Requiring a direction pin to determine the path of logic translation, the 16-channel, MAX13101E, MAX13102E, MAX13103E, and MAX13108E bidirectional logic-level translators operate from a 1.65 to 5.5V power supply and a 1.2V to VCC logic supply. Features include a 20-Mbps transfer rate, a 0.3-µA quiescent current, ±15-kV ESD protection on the I/O VCC lines, and a shutdown-state option. Two output configurations are available during shutdown. Available in 5×5-mm TQFN-40 and a 3×3-mm UCSP-36-bump packaging, the devices have a –40 to +85°C temperature range. Prices for the MAX1310x devices start at $2.50 (1000).
