FCI MicroTCA connectors: Card-edge connectors meet MicroTCA specifications

These press-fit, card-edge connectors enable the use of MicroTCA architecture. Vertical-card-edge connectors provide 170 contacts on 0.75-mm pitch, as well as allow you to plug AMC cards into a backplane, providing speeds as high as 10 Gbps. The press-fit version extends the use of MicroTCA architecture to thicker backplanes that the standard surface-mount reflow-soldering process does not support. The press-fit technologies target larger and thicker backplanes, and the surface-mount connectors suit smaller and less complex backplanes. The MicroTCA connectors cost $9.60.
