Toshiba America Electronic Components TSON: MOSFET comes in compact, high-current package

The TSON Advance MOSFET package provides high-power dissipation and reduces mount-area requirements by 64% in comparison with the 5×6 SOP-8 package. The TSON achieves a typical power dissipation of 1.9W. The series includes the 20V, N-channel TPCC8007; 30V, N-channel TPCC8008; and 30V, P-channel TPCC8102 and TPCC81036 devices. The TPCC8007 features a 20V drain-to-drain source voltage and a 27A drain current. Available in a 3.3×3.3×0.9-mm package, the TSON Advanced MOSFET series costs 30 cents each.
