March 27, 2007

C# for KidsHere’s something for all of you embedded hardware types. If you’ve always wanted to learn programming but found the learning curve just too steep, take a look at Microsoft’s new Beginner Developer Learning Center. It specifically targets beginners with free software and lessons requiring no prior experience or programming knowledge. The center offers video and on-line lessons organized into development tracks for web or Windows development. The Web Development track is for those interested in building online applications, services, and dynamic web sites. The Windows Development track allows the student to customize the desktop or build Windows applications and games. Or if you think that one of your children might be a future programming genius take a look at the Kid's Corner section with features like "Visual Basic for Very Bright Kids" and "C# for Sharp Kids."
