Apple's iPhone: Literally Too Hot to Handle?
July 5, 2007
No sooner did I blog Microsoft’s Xbox 360 tribulations than I ran across this story by Joe Hutsko over at MSNBC that talks about his Apple iPhone dying after only four days of use. The phone locks into a reset loop, never to return. During charging (when it was working), the phone became untouchably hot, a bad thing for a handheld product, I’m sure you’ll agree, and perhaps a predictor of the failure that was to come. So, all you Apple fanboys, don’t get too smug about Microsoft’s woes. Apple might be right behind.
