Fixing CNN Video Problems...Yet Again

Months ago, I reported that video at CNN.com had stopped working on my Web browser. Previously, the culprit was the ad blocker in Symantec’s firewall. Turn it on—no video. Turn it off—video played. Well, one of the latest IE updates broke CNN video and I’ve lived without pretty much all year. Fortunately, a helpful commenter just left this message on my previous blog:

This worked for me. In Internet Explorer go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom, User data persistence and change it to Disable and restart the web browser. Good Luck
