Read this switching power supply troubleshooting strategy online

Sanjaya Maniktala has another power supply book out, his third since 2004. The first two were on switching power supply design, and this one covers down-and-dirty troubleshooting – Troubleshooting Switching Power Converters: A Hands-on Guide. As he says in the first chapter, the scope of the book is problems in switching power supplies. Maniktala has an engaging conversational style that’s very appropriate for such a practical guide. We received permission to put an entire chapter from the book online.
