Top 100 contract manufacturers

You asked for it, and here it is: Our listing of the top100 contract manufacturers. Not surprisingly, there were a number of changes from our 2006 listing, much of which is due to the changed outsourcing environment.

Check out what companies lead in EMS (electronics manufacturing services) and ODM (original design manufacturing). And keep in mind, the list was compiled before the combination of Flextronics-Solectron, expected to merge in Q4.

Taiwan’s Hon Hai Precision sits comfortably at the top, as it did last year, but if the merged Flextronics-Solectron company plays its cards right over the next year, Hon Hai could face some serious competition for the number one ranking.
