Our new EDN Magazine electronics supply chain section

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there have been some major cuts to publications lately when it comes to electronics supply chain coverage. I won’t point fingers, but if you subscribe to some of the pubs out there and noticed that you haven’t gotten an issue in a while, you might want to check and see if they are still around.

Meanwhile, here at EDN, we are expanding our coverage. We’ve made great strides on the Web to bring our readers electronics supply chain news, analysis and research from some of the best industry sources – Avnet, Newark, Intel and Converge, to name a few. And now we are taking that to EDN Magazine.

Starting in today’s issue of EDN, you’ll find a section devoted to the electronics supply chain. Each month, you’ll see stories on green legislation, market conditions and other important factors for electronics distributors, OEMs and ODMs that aim to truly link design and resources.

Our first three stories are on the Qualcomm chip ban, the EPA’s new Energy Star requirements and working in a market with solid demand but lower ASPs. Check out the section and let me know what you think.
